When we thought about a film describing Cherries, we knew from the very start that we didn’t just want an ad. We wanted to convey passion, creativity and levity. We wanted a project that involved our city and all the talented people that live here.

That’s why we called up Sea Creative, one of Varese’s best street artists, and gave him a space in the middle of Piazza Monte Grappa, right under our agency. That’s why we gave him a sunny day and let him get on with his work while Jacopo Manghi, a supremely talented local director and photographer, filmed him for eight hours, creating a performance we all fell in love with. That’s why we’re Cherries.

“Who’s that? What’s he doing? Who are you? Thanks!” – an outpouring of questions and warmth from a curious local woman, charmed by the spectacle. P.S. Some people call him Alfonso, some Fernando, and others Marcelo (“because he looks like Proust, but a bit chubbier”). Some people don’t call him anything. Whatever his name is, he’s a perfect fit for our agency and we’re very fond of him.

A kit packed full of exclusive services, personalised support and unique experiences, with the aim of strengthening the brand relationship. The project saw us getting to grips in our studio with naming, logos, the website, communication material and support for the sales team, as well as side projects such as shop window design and a training course for retailers.

Zinnibiri Restaurant - Cherries Comunicazione Varese

Fire and Sardinian cooking under the stars.

Zinnibiri, a small restaurant serving Sardinian specialities, is part of the Hotel CalaCuncheddi near Olbia. It is open only in the evening, offering spectacular views of the setting sun sinking into the sea, each sunset unforgettable. It serves reworked traditional Sardinian cuisine, with local herbs and spices and aromas brought by the wind. We have designed all the branding tools for this tiny paradise of beauty and good food—website, coordinated image, and menus—and we have positioned it on the internet and on web travel, restaurant and tourist portals.
