when we became part of young people’s dreams.

The university of INSUBRIA. YOUR PLACE TO BE.

The University of Insubria is a public university founded in 1998 with 3 campuses (located in Varese, Como, and Busto Arsizio). It has 7 departments across 5 areas and 400 teachers who are committed to supporting almost 1,200 students in their studies in order to achieve their professional aspirations. Despite such considerable figures, nobody is “just a number” here: Insubria University is a young, dynamic and welcoming environment that is able to connect with young people and, above all, listen to them. We were asked to make a video for the virtual open day, giving us a unique opportunity to film inside the empty classrooms, which had all been vacated due to Covid. This is how we came to hear of the story of Anna, a student who recently graduated from the university with a 1st class-honours degree and whose journey represents the dreams, ideas, and aspirations of all young people in the future.

The video was posted on social networks and on the university’s website, gaining over 10,000 impressions and making the university pages #yourplacetobe: a space where people can come together to share their thoughts and experiences on a university that truly knows how to listen.
