When we told the story of a friendship as solid as concrete

Two seventy-year-olds, Emilio and Peppo, who have known each other for 50 years: they’ve spoken little, yet have always understood one another, always respected and held each other in high regard, and have never had a row (except over football!). It’s certainly a priceless friendship. Nord Milano Consult is their brainchild, an engineering firm as solid as their history. They asked us to design a restyling of their logo and website, and to create a publication celebrating their first 50 years of working together. We started from here, with the book. We told their story and, in doing so, created something that will stand the test of time.

Logo, colours and fonts: new cornerstones for the brand’s future

The logo redesign marks the company’s renewed momentum after 50 years of history: the lines are more modern, the colours more contemporary, and the typeface has been given a more contemporary look. These elements form the cornerstone of the brand, upon which to build a new future.

The website combines construction expertise with a more modern, user-friendly style that is accessible even to non-specialists. The concept is clear right from the homepage: Nord Milano Consult is not just a solid, reliable company capable of designing and building structures that stand the test of time. It is also the indissoluble union between the tradition of engineering thought and innovation in new fields such as environmental engineering, renewable energy and energy efficiency.

A publishing project to celebrate a unique story

To mark the company’s 50th anniversary, we produced a book, which was presented as a gift at the anniversary event. It is a multi-faceted resource: on the one hand, it supports the brand’s storytelling; on the other, it is an item to be treasured with care and affection, in a company that is like a true, close-knit family. In addition to the book, we designed the invitations and the venue décor, with the company’s most significant projects used to adorn the spaces.
