The Mera-Gorini Psychology Centre is a place in the heart of Varese where psychotherapy, mindfulness and art therapy come together in an integrated, multidisciplinary approach. A qualified team working in unison, putting the individual first. Designing their website for a psychology centre meant bringing online the very same feeling one experiences upon stepping through the centre’s door: warmth, openness and a non-judgemental atmosphere.

We have chosen spacious, legible typefaces, soft colours and images that breathe. Every design choice has been guided by a single principle: anyone visiting this website is likely going through a difficult time and deserves an experience that does not add to their burden, but rather lightens it. Rounding off the project is a set of hand-illustrated icons with a warm, human touch – imperfect in the best possible sense – which guide users through the site with the same kindness with which the centre cares for its patients.
